ANA Airports

ANA Airports of Portugal, acquired by the Vinci Group, is responsible for managing all the airports in Lisbon, Porto, Faro, Funchal, Porto Santo, Ponta Delgada, Horta, Santa Maria, Flores and Beja, as well as managing the commercial areas of these airports and the commercialisation of some services directed at passengers, such as airport parking facilities.

CHALLENGE

We worked with Accenture to reimagine the digital presence of ANA Group. The Group welcomes over 35 million international visitors each year to its 10 airports across Portugal.

Drupal is at the core of the solution with its versatile multi-domain structure and language support. The website draws visitors from around the world and providing an initiative, mobile-friendly interface with relevant and timely content is essential for international travellers.

solution

We have created a bespoke tool to deliver content intelligently and in context, based on the user’s location, device and user journey. Our Context Engine module enables relevant content to be delivered dynamically to the user based on their behaviour and environment. And we are harnessing this intelligence to improve the user experience and build predictive models which serve content based on anticipated behaviour.

These insights will influence messaging and help improve user engagement as the website appears more relevant to every users.

We are crafting call to actions based on these metrics too to drive interaction and footfall to airport retail and booking to the ANA-owned hotel properties.

The large enterprise-scale implementation of Drupal will service airports, retail, parking and accommodation business units and present a cohesive destination hub to visitors and the opportunity for the company to cross-sell services.
