The IAPMEI (Competitiveness and Innovation Agency) is the government body whose mission is to boost competitiveness in the Portuguese SME sector, to promote entrepreneurship, and to invest in national projects.

CHALLENGE

We were challenged to promote the “I am Portugal” project – Portuguese made products – and to help the consumer find these products in an easy and straightforward way.

solution

As a result, we developed mobile apps for iOS and Android which allow for a quick search of the products according to different categories as well as finding the nearest selling point where these products can be purchased.

In order to do that, the app uses the geolocation system which pinpoints the user’s location and shows the nearest selling points. It also gives directions on how to get there by connecting to the device maps.
