JJ Food Service is a £200 million food services company servicing the catering and hospitality industry. The company is one of Britain's biggest food wholesalers with warehouses across the country providing supplies to the nation's restaurants and bars.

Delivering mobile solution with real-time ERM system integration with the ability to support real-time ordering and a fast moving inventory of 2300 SKUs.

JJ Food Service operate a fully digital ordering service and Microsoft ERM solution processing thousands of orders every day. Digital Works has delivered native IOS and Android apps to open a new sales channel for the multi-million pound company.

The app features real-time inventory management, delivery booking engine and a sophisticated predictive ordering algorithm to boost basket size. It is optimised for high volume transactions and designed to handle over 2300 SKUs. Digital Works designed and developed the application over a twelve month period with our nearshore mobile development team collaborating with JJ Food Service expert business analysts and data team to create a bespoke mobile app with deep API integration into the company's ERM system to manage order logic and fulfilment.

The app has received international acclaim since launch in late 2015 when Microsoft invited JJ Food Service to showcase the app at the Microsoft Convergence conference in Atlanta, Georgia in late 2015.
