Located in Maine, Unity College is an American University with 50 years of existence and a reference in the field of Sustainability and Environment.

It offers more than 20 different courses, Masters, Degrees, and Training and it has a truly innovative and unique teaching philosophy.

CHALLENGE

To celebrate the university’s 50th year, an ambitious marketing campaign was undertaken. This required developing a new responsive website and upgrading the existing version of Drupal 6 to 7.

As part of a technology overhaul we strengthened the resilience of the site, introduced a CDN as well as New Relic to monitor site performance.

The introduction of the responsive design, more compelling visually-led narrative to reflect the College’s environmental credentials and upgrading the Drupal site infrastructure, has helped boost traffic with session times soaring, bounce rate slashed and intermittent site outages eliminated.

With careful planning and technical insight, we overcame historical performance challenges and renewed the Unity College to create a website fit for the future.
