FIRST UK WHOLESALER WITH MOBILE APP WITH ONE TAP PAYMENT SYSTEM

DigitalWorks was responsible for developing the first One Tap Payment system in the UK for one of the biggest grocery and foodservice wholesalers, JJ Food Service.

Since 2016 that JJ Food Service has partnered with DigitalWorks for the development of their Mobile app, a relationship that began with an award-winning, internationally recognised app development project.

This time the challenge was to introduce another innovative functionality that works using the payment data captured via the App and stored in the system, thus allowing customers to do an instant checkout with a simple touch.

According to Mushtaque Ahmed, COO of JJ Food Service, “Convenience and speed are vital to our customers. Today, more than 50% of our online orders are made via Mobile App. One Tap Pay system has made the shopping experience faster than ever. ”
