Digital Works develops Mobile App for Crédito Agrícola Bank

 Featuring “Cristas” the Bank’s mascot for children, Digital Works created a mobile app for iOS and Android Tablets. Its main objective is to educate children on how to use and save money, in a fun way.


Digital Works was responsible for the creation and development of “Cristas Club” (available only in Portuguese) –  for Crédito Agrícola Bank (CA). The objective of this mobile app, aimed at children within the age of 0-12 years old, is to promote financial literacy and educate about the importance of saving.


We were fully responsible for this project, namely: concept, strategic consultancy and solution design, UI&UX Design and iOS & Android native development. Digital Works is also responsible for managing the club (content, technical support and new features).


“Clube do Cristas was a new project which left us very proud, not only because Crédito Agrícola Bank is a new client for Digital Works, but mainly because it was a project that allowed us to explore and demonstrate all our technical skills on Mobile Development and UI&UX. This app is an idea/concept that was brought to life inside Digital Works, fully developed in house and with a multi-disciplinary project team. We trust it will be a great success and now makes part of the great portfolio of what we can do on mobile.”, states Ricardo Rocha, Digital Works’ Commercial Director.


Clube do Cristas, is a mobile app for iOS and Android Tablets where children are introduced to a virtual city where they can play and learn, earning “EuroCristas” (app’s virtual coin). They can also use those coins and save them on CA Junior (the virtual bank). It is also a friends’ virtual community with some gamification features allowing access to several useful information.
